The Bourgogne Chardonnay from Maison Champy is a fine Chardonnay from Burgundy. The white wine is well opened and has a strong aromatic intensity with notes of exotic fruits and white flowers, caramel and vanilla notes, with a background of toasted bread.
It is 100% Chardonnay.
This Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from a selection of the best barrels of Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in the classic regions of Puligny, Meursault, and Rully. This harmonious blend gives it both the classic character of Chardonnay from the Côte d’Or and the floral elegance typical of the Côte Châlonnaise.
It carries bright color, yellow gold with golden highlights. It brings a strong aromatic intensity. The nose is rich and well opened, with notes of exotic fruits and white flowers as well as notes of caramel and vanilla on a background of toasted bread. It is fresh on the palate with an opulent body, smooth and round. At the finish, one can find a good aromatic persistence of the fruit, united with a good balance between the acidity and the roundness.
